A calendar you control by voice
Creating an appointment by keyboard takes about ten taps: open, pick a date, set a time, enter a title, confirm. One sentence is enough in Happy Assistant, and the calendar remains viewable normally, in day, week, month or year views.
Key takeaways
- One sentence creates a dated event, with a reminder if you ask for one.
- Four views: day, week, month, year, with swipe navigation on mobile.
- Multi-day events are handled and correctly conveyed by voice.
- Events shared from Happy Family appear with their original color code.
- Your assistant can manage the children's tasks and the shopping list in Happy Family.
Phrases that work
- Add a dentist appointment next Thursday at 2:30 pm.
- What do I have planned next week?
- Move my Tuesday meeting to Wednesday at the same time.
- Block May 15th to 17th for vacation.
Views and navigation
- Day: the detailed timeline, useful in the morning to frame the day.
- Week: the steering view, to spot free slots.
- Month: the planning view, to set deadlines.
- Year: the big-picture view, for vacations and busy periods.
On mobile, swiping left or right changes the day, week, month or year depending on the active view. The header stays fixed during vertical scrolling.
Reminders and notifications
Every event can carry a reminder, sent as a push notification even when the app is closed. The count of items to handle appears directly on the installed app's icon.
Happy Family: shared calendar and a household you steer by voice
If you use Happy Family, shared family information and activities flow into the Happy Assistant calendar while keeping their type and color. Your assistant also acts in Happy Family: it checks each child's overdue tasks, assigns new ones, reads the shopping list, and adds or removes items. Reads are transparent, writes are announced and then confirmed, and management is reserved for parents in the household.
What the feature does not do
- This calendar is the app's own: it doesn't yet replace two-way sync with Google Calendar.
- An ambiguous date is rephrased by the assistant rather than guessed.
